The sublime landscape, stunning landmarks, and heavenly cuisine make many want to plan cheap holidays in France. The first and best pointer is to restrict a Paris excursion to a limited time only as it is undeniably the most expensive place to go. Plan on going to some other enchanting French towns to economize without giving up a fabulous vacation.

Camping is quite commonplace in France, and it is a much more social form of accommodation than a hotel. Highly rated campgrounds are often nicer than their hotel counterparts. There are many low-cost accommodations available, though. Typically smaller inns, hostels and bed and breakfasts, these lodgings are perfect for food lovers and are known for their authentic french cuisine. Alternatives include rural farmhouses and are also perfect for foodies, as most provide incredible meals cooked fresh.

The most expensive way to travel is by train, car or taxi. Cheaper alternatives are available, however. To travel across country a rail pass is a less expensive alternative. There are also a couple of discount airlines available. Sometimes, airfare on one of these low cost carriers to an outlying city is cheaper than going by train or car.

Eating can be inexpensive if planned ahead of time. Staying away from the tourist areas can save a lot of money and reveal the real culture. French bakeries are great places to get inexpensive goodies like bread and croissants. Stopping in at the local market and picnicking in are park is an authentic and reasonable way to experience the real France. There are many fabulous and low cost ethnic restaurants that also provide haute cuisine on a budget. Many restaurants in tourist areas provide set price meals for a discounted price.

While Paris can be supremely expensive, it can also be reasonable to visit. The key is to plan carefully and spend wisely. Paris has it all and just like any major city, traveling out of season, staying in alternative lodgings and eating at fancy restaurants sparingly will save, save, save. Despite the fact that tickets to museums and landmarks are pricey, there is generally one day a week when tickets are discounted.

France is a country of countless splendors often thought to be out of reach for the budget traveler. With a little planning, however, a trip to France is more likely to be a more genuine and rewarding vacation than most people get who go first class. Planning cheap holidays in France are a great way to see the country.

A large number of tourists mistakenly believe that there is only a single museum of modern art in Paris.

A large number of tourists mistakenly think that there is only a single museum of modern art in Paris.

Really, there are number of places in Paris you can visit to see modern art, however, generally speaking there are two museums in Paris that are both called the Modern Art Museum.

This is the Palace of Modern Art in Paris, France, the first one of the two museums that showcases modern art. This museum is only a part of a larger structure. It can be found at 11 Avenue du President Wilson which is denominated after Woodrow Wilson, America’s president during World War I.

If you chose to take the metro system to reach to the Palace of Modern Art, best stations to get off are Alma Marceau and Iena which are few walks away to your destination.

The Palace of Modern Art showcases artworks depicting each school of art in France in the 20th century. Among these are Cubism, Dada, Expressionism and Fauvism.

Some of the most modern artists whose works are on display at this modern art museum in Paris include Picasso, Braqe, Soutine, Modigliani and Dufy.

The Palace of Modern Art serves the public at 10 AM to 5:30 PM on Tuesdays to Sundays. Gates are open up to 6:30 PM on weekends to accommodate more. If you want to see a temporary exhibit held in this museum, you will be obliged to pay an extra fee.

Another spot to see modern artworks in Paris is located at the renowned Pompidou Center. It contains 3000 pieces of modern artworks not only from France but several parts of the world. But then it often leases its pieces to other art museums in the city and other parts of the country, so it is best to check with the custodian if you want to see a particular art work.

Like the city modern art museum in Paris, this museum hosts number of temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists from France. These are generally conducted in the southern wing of the museum. Entrance to this museum in Paris can be accessed from Rue Saint Merri.

Paris museums of modern art can provide an exceptional view of various modern artworks. For an unforgettable view of world renowned artworks, visit Louvre museum Paris.

The hype created about this city of Paris, is totally worth it, as the best historical monuments and the combination of olden and modern day art can be witnessed here. Owing to its beauty in the night time, it is also called ‘the city of lights’. A lover of art, a person with a romantic outlook would love Paris as his trip site.

The monuments and the museums are an evidence for the glorious history of the magic city. In the following sections, some of the best spots in Paris are talked about. Just like how Eiffel Tower has made a place in the minds of the people of the world, one would be surprised to know that most places in Paris are equally beautiful.

1. The Louvre One rightly said that no matter how much time is spent at the Louvre, it is still less to get the complete taste of its immense beauty. The masterpiece of Leonardo Da Vinci, ‘Monalisa’ forming the major attraction, many more beautiful works are found here.

2. Eiffel Tower The beautiful sights from the top of the tower work as a magnet to thousands of tourists from all over the world. The signs at the top of the tower pointing to the various cities of the world are so realistic that they can be visualized on a summer day with a clear sky. Friday night is the time most tourists prefer.

3. Arche de Triomphe A place that is as important to the Germans as the French is undoubtedly a centre where major developments in the history took place. As Napoleon built it to celebrate his victories, in the year 1806, the ’symbol of victory’ image is attached to this monument. It houses the site of France’s tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

4. The River Seine The river that has evidenced the glorious history of Paris is one of the major attractions even today. The monuments like the Place de la Concorde and the Petit Palais rest on the banks of this river. The ride on the Seine is made all the more beautiful by the glass boats.

5. Musee de Orsay The place which at present is a museum, used to be a railway station in the past. The artworks from 1848 to 1914 constitute the major part of the museum. Here, one more place worth a visit is the museum caf located right behind the station.

6. Basilica de Sacre Coeur This amazing cathedral, which is considered an unusual church, was built between 1887 and 1914.The Franco-Prussian war of 1870 was memorized by this piece of art. A typical example of Byzantine art and striking mosaic work, it is one of the best places in Paris.

If you are a close follower of the progress in the field of fashion, you will be well aware of the fact that France holds a special seat in the world of fashion. With the top models of all the times having been associated with France, one can expect to get a glimpse of the latest trends in Paris.

It would not be an exaggeration to term the city of Paris as the most romantic city of the world. The availability of everything, provided one is ready to shell out money makes it a place suitable for an extravagant trip.

Kids often discover that attempting to learn French at school is extremely difficult. This is because French is a very complicated language and the teaching strategies utilized in many educational institutions to teach kids French should be far better!

Children often find that attempting to learn French at school is extremely difficult. This is because French is a very complex language and the teaching strategies used in most educational facilities to teach kids French should be far superior!

Have you ever considered an online French for kids program? Below are five reasons why French for kids online courses are far away superior to established school training techniques:

1. Games – The most liked online French for kids programs have numerous interactive games that your children can take part in to study French in a fun way. So sneaky, but it works very well!

2. Audio Components – The audio components that most online French for children programs have can be uploaded to your children’s mp3 players. Your kids could listen to the material when they are on the way to school or playing on the Playstaion. This passive education is extremely easy for children.

3. The Four Elements – The four education elements are writing, reading, listening and speaking. The majority of kids struggle to study French at school as solely writing and reading are targeted on. This lack of practical teaching is why less is learned and what has been learned is much more certainly forgotten.

The best French online for kids programs encompass components from all the 4 key elements of education meaning that your brood will be taught more easily.

4. Online Forums – With an online forum, your kids can meet other children their own age and skill level and open chat windows. As well, if you own a head set, they could converse with their new friends…In French of course! This will offer your children valuable practical experience of speaking and listening they will by no means get at school.

5. Price – You might get your kid a private teacher to teach them French. Your youngster would benefit enormously from this one to one schooling and it would generally cost you approximately $40 per hour.

On the other hand, a high-quality online French for children program will set you back around $100 and you will get a 2 month guarantee. If your kid does not learn French quickly, you get your cash back.

Online French For Kids programs are superb, it’s the only mode i would recommend for learning any foreign language. Find out which French For Kids Online programs we endorse!

Paris is without any doubt a paradise for anyone who loves taking pictures. You can spend the rest of your days in this lovely, romantic city and still have insufficient pictures to catch its many-faceted heart. It has probably been written about by more writers, painted by more painters and photographed by more photographers than any other world city. Your Paris pictures will no doubt be admired by friends and colleagues.

It’s easy to understand why this is so. Paris has something to offer everyone. From the unmistakable beauty of the river Seine to the glitter of the Champs Elysees; from the awe-inspiring Eiffel Tour to the breath taking beauty of the Notre Dame; and from the treasures of the Louvre to the zest for life of Euro Disney, there is something that will excite a photographer no matter what his interests are.

No matter how much you photograph the Eiffel Tower, there is always an opportunity to take one more picture. Perhaps take it from a different angle. Maybe take it from closer or further away. You could also try when the light is different, such as at sunset.

The glass pyramid in front of the Louvre is another example of how their sense of architectural adventure makes them think out of the box. They often create something that is not beautiful when you see it the first time, but it grows on you over the years. This, it can be said, requires true genius.

Even if you spend the rest of your life in Paris, you would probably be unable to take picture of every architectural masterpiece in the city. There is simply such a huge variety of architectural styles. If you are a lover of architecture, the best option is to just wander the streets aimlessly, taking pictures of the countless beautiful doorways, lovely little balconies and interesting roofs.

Paris pictures are about more than tourist sites and historical landmarks though. The true heart of Paris is only revealed when you start taking pictures of its people. Housewives bargaining for a better deal at the fresh produce market, stylish old gentleman having a quiet nap in the park, the artists of the Latin Quarter and the zest for life of the thousands of students at the Sorbonne. You can spend years sitting at a sidewalk cafe in Paris, just taking pictures of the fullness of life you will experience in this most beautiful of all cities.

There is no doubt that France is a fantastic country to visit whatever time of year you are planning to go there. It is a country that has consistently been voted right at the top of many lists about the best country to live in in the world and as such makes a fantastic holiday destination. If you are considering going on cheap holidays in France, you have to think about a few things before you head off.

The first thing that you will want to consider is where exactly you are going to be going. France has a range of wonderful cities and towns that you might want to visit, with so much history and culture.

If, however, you are looking for more of a beach or summer holiday, then heading down to the south of France where you will get some fantastic stretches of coast is a superb option. Of course, the Alps also are situated within France, and this gives the option of going on ski holidays as well.

The next thing that you will want to think about will be how exactly you are going to get there. If you are travelling from Europe there are some very decent budget airlines that will get you into any location for reasonable prices.

However, you may also want to drive to your location. This might be a good way to save money depending on how far you have to go, and you may also want to stop over at a different location during your journey in order to taste a little bit more of what France has to offer.

Originating from France, the French language is now spoken as the first language by over 90 million people. Add to it another 190 million people who speak French as a second language. Further, about 200 million more people speak French as they have learnt the language as a second language. The majority of French speakers live in 54 countries. The native French speakers are not only in France where the language originated, but also in Canada, Francophone Africa, Belgium, Luxembourg and Monaco. The source of French, just like Italian, Romanian, Portuguese and Spanish, is Latin. Both Celtic languages and later Germanic language influenced the development of the French language. The official language in 29 countries includes French. The United Nations and a number of international organizations have adopted French as one of their official languages. French is ranked as the third most spoken language in the European Union after English and German.

In ancient times the modern-day France was occupied by Celtic people, who were also called Gauls, before the Roman conquest. Germanic tribes conquered Western Europe since the third century. In 1539 that King Francis I declared French as the official language replacing Latin. The period of 17th century to 18th century was the period of the emergence of Classical French and later till the 20th century the Modern French emerged. It was during the 17th and 18th centuries that France emerged as a major colonial power. They established themselves in the Americas. French became a dominant language then but soon lost its position to English during the 20th century. Yet French is the second most sought after foreign language after English in the world.

A language can be learnt in many ways when your aim is to converse with the native speakers. The main focus in learning the language is to communicate. Formal courses are offered for learning various languages. But this requires that the learner keep aside free the time as required by the course. If this is possible, then one can sign up and join these courses. Alternatively there are courses that are offered which you can learn at your own pace and time. Such high quality courses are offered for learning such languages as Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German and French. One of the languages most sought after is French. You can also check the Rocket French reviews for details of the Rocket French course. There are also other similar French courses such as the Michel Thomas course, Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur.

Learning a language is exciting. Of course, the best way of learning any language is living with the people who speak the language. You will not only be learning the language but also learning about the people.

Living with native French speakers might not be an easy thing to do. but no worries, you can still learn the language by purchasing Rocket French.

Paris and its surroundings, being also called the City of lights, is one of the most visited places in the world, thanks to its many tourist attractions such as : Notre Dame cathedral, other Churches like Sacre Coeur, The senior of Invalids and Napoleon's grave, The Eiffel Tower with a height that exceeds 320 meters.

Visiting France is always a challenge, because there are so many things you can visit you don’t even know where to start, but Paris is always a good begging, as it offers attractions like The Eiffel Tower and Napoleon’s Grave. Even today, after more than a hundred years from it’s opening date, The Eiffel Tower is still a popular tourist location.

The entire France offers classical attractions, and Paris is not the only city to visit. The type of hotel accommodations found in the country side usually depend on how known is the specific location. When deciding to go see the non-modern regions of France, you can book in a hotel that will offer comfortable rooms at low prices and will allow you to taste traditional French cooking. As we all can tell, Frenchmen do cook in a special and refined way. To fully experience the benefits of French cooking, you will need to leave a few days from you journey aside, and take a room in the country, where you will satisfy your culinary curiosity.

When you try to find a location for your tour, try choosing a famous hotel accommodation in usual tourist regions. One of these tourist regions is the Cote d’Azur, or the French Mediterranean seaside. Famous festivals are held on the Cote D’Azur, and if you decided to find a hotel here, you may as well go to one. Such a resort is the one where an annual film festival is held, called Cannes, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. Negresco hotel in Nice is a place where special treatments can be experienced, but it is very expensive. An annual jazz festival is also held on Mediterranean shores, in July, so here’s an extra reason to visiting the Cote D’Azur.

Modern regions or camping sites perfect for a Black Diamond I tent alternate with historical regions in Paris, and comfortable hotel accommodations can be found in both, situated sometimes right in the middle of well known squares or near museums that are worth to visit like the Luvre.

Hotels from major cities have expensive rooms, but you if you want to visit historical regions you might want to spend a day or two there. If you want to have a nice vacation but at low costs, then going on a tour of the country side is the best choice. You can even rent tents and spent time bonding with nature near legendary French woods. There’s an additional alternative to country side if you want an inexpensive vacation: less famous cities.

Did you ever consider that maybe you should go to Paris? That thought has occurred to a lot of people, some have even done something about it.

Did you ever consider that maybe you should go to Paris? That thought has occurred to a lot of people, some have even done something about it. Most just consider it briefly, then dismiss the idea, at times because they do not understand how to go about it, in other cases because it is just a huge unknown, still others because they think they cannot do it.

Well, kick back here for a few moments and why don’t we examine that. Here are three good reasons why you should go to Paris, for you to consider.

To begin with, you really have to visit Paris at least once in your life.. Sure, I understand your objection that you don’t have time or money or there may be other places to visit. That’s true, but still Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the word.

Secondly, it’s a great cultural place and attract more tourists than any other city. Plus, there are so many things to see, the Eiffel Tour, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre-Coeur, the Arc de Trioumph and many other great things. And it’s really great if you go during spring or fall (during the summer there are to many tourists everywhere you go in Paris).

Lastly, there are so many great things to see in Paris. Therefore you have to see Paris at least once in your life. Again, you have to go visit Paris as soon as you can!

When you consider the reasons and evaluate them, I expect that you’ll have to admit that a compelling case can be made for considering the way to consider to visit Paris.

Think it over. Maybe you really, in all seriousness, should go to Paris.
