Business Ecuador should be an option to increase your distribution channels in Latin America as this country has large natural resources, various agricultural products and good infrastructures for the tourism industry. Its location is also a benefit as it is situated at the entrance to South America.

Ecuador is situated in South America bordering Colombia and Peru. It is the fourth smallest country in the region. The capital is Quito. Spanish is the primary language spoken although the business people do speak English. The official legal tender is the American dollar which fluctuates less than other currencies in the region.

Ecuador business has strong exports of bananas and flowers. The principal industries are petroleum, textiles, processing of foods, chemicals and wood. Its main export partners are the United States, Chile, Peru, Russia and Colombia. Its import partners are the US, China, Colombia, Brazil and Japan.

The Manabi tax free zone is also an important aspect of Ecuador business. This is an important trading area in the country. This zone was created with the intention to boost trade in the region and promote better cooperation with its neighbors. This zone also encouraged foreign investment which in turn created new jobs. The Manabi free zone is located in Eloy Alfaro which is near the city of Manta and is privately run by a company named Zoframa SA which is also in charge of its development.

Ecuador... a country off the radar, offers very cheap retirement living.

Ecuador… a country off the radar, offers very cheap retirement living.

Ecuador is not only a cheap place to retire…it is a great place to retire. Many Americans have discovered much to rave about besides the low prices.

Ecuador has a familiar currency, the good old American dollar. Retirees report that the locals are very friendly and have made them feel very welcome in sharing their country. Americans who have retired in Ecuador find that they are quickly absorbed into the local communities.

How cheap is it? $15,000 a year will give you a lifestyle you will be very pleased with. Some live on a lot less, than $15,000 a year.

Cheap living means very reasonable real estate both for purchase and rentals. Rent before you buy is always good advice.

Owning two homes in Ecuador is quite possible due to th elow prices for real estate. One might be in the mountains. Quito the capital, has spring like weather due to its 9,000 foot elevation. The culture of an colonial city is available there. Your second home might be on the beach, Ecuador has some beauties.

The other Ecuadoran abode might be on the beach in Manta. When you go to the beach be sure to sport a Panama hat…Ecuador is where Panama hats are made… not Panama, Ecuador…go figure.

When we say cheap living, what do we mean exactly real estate wise? $100,000 will buy you an apartment in Quito and a beachfront condo in Manta…that’s right both properties. If you do move to Ecuador it is always more prudent to rent before you buy. You can get a very nice apartment, well located in Quito for $500 a month.

Domestic help costs about $30 per week. A doctor’s visit, or a house call, will run around $15 for a GP, $20 for a specialist.

Folks wishing to retire in Ecuador must be able to prove stable income of $900 per month per couple. Your pension or Social Security check is of course acceptable. A visa is needed as well; the visa fee is $350.

The 12 million that call Ecuador home come from many climates. You have the humid jungles in the east, or the soaring Andes with their year round cool temperatures. If you want the beach Ecuador has them in spades. If you desire a change in view and climate you do not have to go far in Ecuador.

Cheap living should not be your only motivator to move to Ecuador. There is a colonial culture in many cities. Quito is home to some fine restaurants, museums and other big city attractions. Ecuador offers a little something to whatever you are looking for. Living well and enjoying life is a Ecuadoran tradition.

Retiring to Ecuador is not popular now, it won’t be for long. Do you need information on other frugal retiring living lifestyles that are fun? Do not give up on retiring until you check out this website

It is easy to travel to tropical areas, because they are populated by humans. Travelling to the rainforest however is a little bit more complicated. You can read about types of travelling in this article.

It is easy to travel to tropical areas, because they are populated by humans. Travelling to the rainforest however is a little bit more complicated. You can read about types of travelling in this article.

If you want to lie on a tropical beach, there are several countries to choose from; most of them are either located in South Asia or South America.

It is easy to find cheap accommodation in these countries. But the airfares can be quite steep, if you are coming from Europe or North America. So check both your local travel agent and the internet to find the best deals. This way you can save a lot of money on your trip.

Another popular place is The Amazon. It is located in the country of Ecuador (which is located in South America). There are six different regions where you can potential travel to depending on which areas are not restricted for tourists. The regions are: Sucumbios, Orellana, Napo, Pastaza, Morona, Santiago and Zamora Chinchipe.

Tena and Coca are the two only cities in The Amazon. It takes 6 hours to travel by bus to Tena, and the bus normally does not make any stops during the trip. The price for the whole trip is $7.

When traveling The Amazon, it is best to travel in groups for better safety. A tour guide with knowledge about the surrounding areas, plants and animals is also ideal.

If you have the budget and time, you can stay in a jungle lodge; building right inside the jungle. Normally the package includes stuff like fishing, canoe trips and biking.

The fees for these lodges are pretty decent; they range from $100USD to over $250USD per night, depending on the quality and packages that comes with the lodges. It’s best to book these packages while you are in Ecuador because they are much cheaper than booking them indirectly in your country.

Martin Elm is writing about travel. Read about how to find the best travel packages in the section charterrejser dk. Here you can also read about charterrejser tilbud.
