When you think of your ideal vacation destination, Africa might not be the first thing that comes to mind. Even though it is Europe’s southern neighbor, the continent as a whole gets some very bad press. However, there are many countries, such as Ghana, Botswana, South Africa, Egypt, and Kenya that are very lovely places. Of course, it is the developing world, but if you decide to choose Africa as your next holiday location you are sure to be pleasantly surprised at all the wonders that Africa has to offer. It is also good to know that many UK flights originating in London and even some less central locations can take you into the heart of Africa.

Africa is a very interesting and challenging country. It is relatively untouched; there are still many swaths of virgin forest and plain that are teeming with wildlife.

Taking a safari in Africa is unlike anything else in the world. However, these out of the way places are also very hard to reach. You’ll be hard pressed to find a direct flight to any of them, much less a cheap flight.

Generally there is one carrier on one route and you have to pay the price it quotes. There are some easier to reach destinations in Africa as well.

You should be able to get a pretty good deal on any of these low cost airlines. However, during winter holidays the prices will go up as people have free time and want to escape the cold. The cheapest time to fly to these destinations when the weather is still pleasant is in October or February.

However, if you want to visit when the weather is pleasant but avoid all the vacationers and the higher prices they create, you should plan your Africa travel for either October or February.

Once you have decided on traveling to Africa, you need to think about much more than just the UK flight that is going to get there. You may or may not need a visa for travel, depending on the countries on which you are visiting.

Instead visit the embassy website for details about the visas and vaccinations that you will need to travel to each country. You should go out and get a malaria and yellow fever vaccination right away, regardless of where you are going. However, once you have all the appropriate paperwork in order you can start your journey into the untouched heart of Africa.

If you are really interested in exploring the wonder that is Africa there are many UK flights specifically Flights to Angola that you can take to the heart of this continent. We have got the inside scoop!
