There are also security locks you can place on a garage door. It may be tempting to leave a hiding key in your property but it is strongly recommended that you do not do this. It is a temptation for robbers who look for these opportunities. If you have a trusted neighbor or relative close by this is a viable option for emergencies.
Alarm System: A system for alarming your household can include your garage door area. Separate keypads can be installed for the garage or just inside the garage door inside the home. There are many options to choose from when it comes to alarm systems.
